ALMATEC wins "Innovation Award" again

The latest generation of the FUTUR series, the FUTUR-Omega, have been named a 2011 Innovation Award winner by United States-based Flow Control magazine. Flow Control's Innovation Awards program, which is in its 14th year, is an annual competition designed to recognize the year's most compelling advances in fluid-handling technology. After the votes of the magazine's readers were tabulated, the FUTUR-Omega was named a 2011 Innovation Award winner. In 2010 ALMATEC had already received this "Innovation-Award" with the E-SERIES pumps.

Thanks to all who made this success possible. It confirms the efforts of ALMATEC always to define the state of the art of air-operated diaphragm pumps.

Mobile Pumping Units

In addition to stationary pneumatic diaphragm pumps mobile units are also required in many production plants. Mobile pumping stations of ALMATEC are used, for example, as emergency pumps, as temporary replacements for pumps under repair, or for transferring liquids from one movable container to another.

They consist of the stainless steel trolley, the ALMATEC pneumatic diaphragm pump (E-SERIES or CHEMICOR series) with pulsation damper, and the supplementary equipment (air supply with claw coupling, filter pressure reducer, control valve, and the internal connections to pump and damper).

For an emergency pump it is advantageous to use PTFE conductive as housing material. Because of the nearly universal chemical resistance of PTFE, there is no need to check the resistance against the liquid, an important time saving factor. Moreover, the conductive material allows the use of the pump without difficulties in explosion-proof areas and for inflammable liquids.

Mobile pumping stations are an indispensable part of the emergency equipment required in every company.

E-SERIES is "Top-Product of the month"

The readers of the magazine “cav” (chemie-anlagen+verfahren) have elected the E-SERIES of ALMATEC as “Top-Product of the month October 2010”. Four products were up for election and with a voting of 59% the E-SERIES was victorious.

This additional award features the user’s outstanding evaluation criterion of the product quality.
